the deep flaring sides rising from a short slightly spreading foot and encircled on the exterior by a groove beneath the lipped rim, freely carved to the interior with a large blossoming lotus flower surrounded by scrolling foliage enclosed by a lightly incised line, covered overall in an even olive-green glaze stopping short of the foot rim to reveal the greyish-brown body

Condition

In good condtion. One small glaze chip to outer rim, measuring approximately 1mm diam.; several minute firing imperfections. Spinks label to base.
