the rounded sides rising from a spreading foot, flanked by a pair of ram handles suspending loose rings, the slightly domed cover surmounted by a large circular knop and four recumbent rams, all supported on a hollowed stand with an apron-shaped foot decorated with stylised scrolls, the stone of an even greyish white tone with faint milky-white and russet inclusions, with silver-inlaid wood stand

Condition

The stand has several areas of chip to the ruyi-shaped feet (the largest measuring circa 0.3 x 0.1cm) but the censer is in otherwise excellent condition.
