the flattened baluster body rising from a short spreading foot to a short waisted neck set with a pair of scroll handles, carved in high relief around the exterior with a standing crane and lotus, the domed cover surmounted by a lotus bud finial, the stone of celadon tone with caramel streaks 

Condition

One of the petals of the lotus flower has a 0.6 x 0.3cm chip. There are other minor nibbling and small chips along the extremities such as the beak of the crane, leafy edges and mouthrims. The cover has a 0.4 x 0.2cm chip and extensive bruising along the edges (the largest area measuring 0.7 x 0.2cm).
