carved in the form of two boys clutching a bat and straddling a large peach on a bed of meandering leafy stems bearing further smaller peaches, the smiling boys dressed in loose fitting robes and each depicted with three neat locks of hair on the forehead, one holding a further leafy stalk with two peaches to his back, the stone of a pale celadon tone with milky inclusions flecked with russet and grey near the bottom

Condition

There is a 0.2cm nick to the shoe of one of the boys on the reverse but the carving is in otherwise excellent condition.
