Description

of rectangular form, carved to the front face in low relief with a sinuous chilong grasping a leafy sprig of lotus in its mouth, the beast with large eyes, a striated mane and bifurcated tail, the stone of an even white tone

Condition

The plaque has a minor chip to the tip of the striated mane, and another chip to the curled tail of the chilong near the bottom of the plaque. The edge of the plaque is nibbled.
