carved in the Song-style, the bird reclining with legs tucked underneath its body, its head turned sharply to the back, clenching a gnarled branch of prunus in its beak, its wings and long tail lightly incised with feathers, the stone of pale celadon tone flecked with russet inclusions, wood stand

The bird is in excellent condition. Attached to the underside with an old label reading '123. LH.'.
