of square form rising on four cornered feet, the slightly domed cover carved with a yin yang symbol at the centre flanked by a four-character inscription reading Furu Donghai ('May your good fortune be as vast as the Eastern Seas'), all framed by archaistic squared and C-shaped scrolls, the stone of an opaque tone flecked with milky-white and occasional russet inclusions
Condition
The box is in very good condition with the exception of nibbling and small nicks along the edges of the rims.
