of boulder form, the front face carved with two bearded sages, one offering a large peach to another figure carrying a ruyi sceptre, set in a rocky landscape with gnarled pine and smaller shrubs by a flowing river, the reverse with further shrubs issuing from rocks, the stone of pale celadon tone suffused with caramel inclusions, wood stand

Condition

The jade mountain is in generally good condition with the exception of a circa 0.8 x 0.3cm chip to the pine shrubs, and another circa 0.4 x 0.1 chip to the rock face on the reverse side, and minor nibbling along the edges of the carving.
