the tiered wood based supporting three standing maidens, each slightly bent at the waist and adorned with long flowing robes with traces of pigment and gilding, flanked on either side by two wood side tables of square section, tiaozhuo

Condition

The maiden with two twin-knots has a chip to the tip of the object she is holding. The one with a high chignon. could possibly be holding an attribute and wearing earrings which are now lost. The ivories are in general very good condition with the exception of occasional age cracks and rubbing to the surfaces, the colour are of a warmer and creamier tone compared to the catalogue illustration. The balustrade on the wood stand is loose and has a repaired section to the right with traces of glue.
