Description

  • jade
comprising: a white jade quatrelobed floral dish enclosing a shou character roundel in the centre; a pair of white jade dishes; three white jade cups; a small stemcup; and a small jadeite cup

Condition

The quatrelobed dish has a 0.7 x 0.5cm natural nick to the central shou character and other minor nicks and flaws which are natural to the stone. There is a 0.2 x 0.2cm flake to the footring and four circa 2cm knife-carved straight marks around the side of the foot. The stemcup has several minute chips at the mouth rim, and another 0.3 x 0.1cm nick at the foot. The jadeite cup, jade cups and dishes are all in excellent condition with the exception of minute nicks natural to the stone.
