Description

  • Jade
the globular body rising from three short cabriole legs issuing from monster masks, with a band of archaistic C-scrolls in low relief, the sides with two monster head handles supporting loose rings, attached to a foliate stand raised on short ruyi-form feet, the domed cover with archaistic chilong in low relief around the sides and surmounted by a dragon finial 

Condition

The censer is in good condition with the exception of a 0.8 x 0.2 chip at the base, there are other minor chips and light bruising along the foot and the extremities.
