three of straight tapering form with lingzhi-form finials, one in the form of a ruyi sceptre with lingzhi-form finial, and one of straight form, entwined at the top by an openwork dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl, together with a reticulated jade pommander, carved on both sides with four ruyi-scroll roundels around a central medallion enclosing a bat and a stylised shou character, all reserved against a cash diaper ground, pierced at the top and bottom for suspension of a red tassel
Condition
The pommander is in excellent condition but the beads attached to the tassel are chipped (the largest area measuring 0.6 x 0.4cm). Apart from extremely minute nicks at the extremities, the hairpins are in excellent condition.
