Description
- JADE
comprising: a rectangular white jade plaque carved with a sinuous dragon flanked by peony blooms amid foliate scrolls, a square jade plaque carved atop in relief with a clambering chilong clasping a lingzhi sprig in its mouth; a rectangular pale celadon jade plaque of a chilong amid lingzhi sprays; a white jade plaque with the He He erxian; and a rectangular jade plaque mounted on a wood base, carved with two qilin amidst leafy peony scrolls
Condition
The large 'dragon' rectangular plaque has a possible old loss to the straight end measuring 4 x 0.4cm, this does not affect the carved decoration and the breaking points have been recarved and repolished.
All the pieces shows minor nibbling along the edges of the carving but is in otherwise good condition.
