Description

  • Jade
standing on three feet, the bulging eyes and flaring nostrils framed by a pair of upright ears, pierced at the mouth with an aperture as the spout opposite a dragon handle, the body encircled by a band of archaistic scrolls and medallions, the cover carved with petal lappets and surmounted by a raised knop flanked by foliate scrolls, the stone of a pale celadon tone

Condition

The ewer is in very good condition with the exception of minor nicks and light bruises along the edges of the carving.
