the recumbent beast with its legs and bushy tail tucked beneath its scaly body, its horned head turned sharply looking at a small boy clambering on its back, the stone of an even white tone

Condition

The stone of a pure white tone, with pale yellowish-russet markings to the head of the qilin; a series of deep scratches and nicks to the underside of the group; otherwise in good condition.
