each with an ovoid body surmounted by a tall cylindrical neck and everted rim, painted in mirror image with a continuous scene of three figures looking at a rounded cartouche enclosing plantain leaves above two other figures, all set in a fenced garden with gnarled trees and jagged rockwork below the moon half-hidden behind clouds, the base with a double circle
Condition
The vases are in very good condition with only minor glaze firing imperfections including, two 5mm., firing glaze lines to the base of one, iron glaze spot impurities, pin hole burst glaze bubbles and very minor glaze scratches.
