the deep rounded sides divided into six lobes with vertical ribs, rising from a straight foot to a flared rim, the exterior enamelled with a hundred stylised shou characters in various script arranged in three horizontal rows, encircled with a double line border at the foot and a single line at the rim

Condition

The bowl has two raised bumps (0.1 x 0.1cm each) and approx. 15 burst glaze bubbles to the interior, the blue enamel slightly obscured in places. Apart from other minor glaze firing imperfections such as iron spots, the bowl is in good condition.
