A BLUE AND WHITE 'SHUANG XI' BOWL DAOGUANG SEAL MARK AND PERIOD

the deep rounded sides rising from a tapering foot to a slightly flared rim, decorated on the exterior in bright cobalt-blue tones with four shuang xi  (double xi) characters enclosed by large stylised lotus heads amongst leafy and feathery branches of peach linked by four bats, all between double line border below the rim and encircling the foot, inscribed to the base with a six-character Daoguang seal mark

The bowl is in excellent condition with the exception of minor surface scratchings and glaze firing imperfections such as burst glaze bubbles and iron spots.
