of jardinière form with a flat back, painted in cobalt-blue tones with a writhing chilong amongst budding leafy scrolls, all above a band of pointed flame motifs, the ribbed rim encircled by a leafy scroll, reserved on a bright yellow ground

Condition

One glaze flake and associated to the reverse left corner, measuring approximately 3mm by 5mm and another old chip (possibly pre-firing) to the upper right rim. The yellow enamel with a faint crackle, surface wear and scratching. Two old labels to reverse, reading 'Collection Heliot Fils, 34, Rue de Berlin, Paris'; and 'Yong-tcheng 1723-1735'.
