of Middle Eastern metal form, the pear-shaped body alternately ribbed and lobed, surmounted by a tall neck flaring at the rim, the body painted in cobalt-blue tones with panels each enclosing a chilong and lingzhi amongst stylised scrolls, all below a band of lappets at the shoulder, the neck with diaper, plantain and geometric bands

Condition

The neck is cut and trimmed, as seen in the interrupted plantain leaf tips. There is a 1.5c hairline to the rim and another 1.5cm hairline adjacent to it. Other minor glaze firing imperfections include minor glaze chips, burst glaze bubbles, and slightly bubbly glaze especially to the shoulder and the lower part of the bottle vase.
