- Gilt bronze, inlaid with jade and glass
each of rectangular form, raised on four short feet, the tapering sides incised with feathery scroll work and inset on each side with two spinach jade panels and set with red, green and clear paste stones, raised on rectangular zitan stands, with cabriole ruyi-shaped legs and lotus lappet-form aprons, inlaid with silver wire
Condition
Both in good general condition; extensive tarnishing to undersides; one of the red paste inlays cracked in several places; the jade panels with speckled red inclusions; minor surface wear. The wood stands in good order.
