each elegant bird carved and pierced standing on rockwork, the long tail feathers curling down to the sides, the head turned sharply backwards and surmounted by a small crestcomb, the wings pressed close to the sides with incised detailing, the mottled apple-green stone with streaks of white and russet inclusions, with bright forest-green speckling, mounted on a gilt-metal base (2)
