of rectangular form, with canted corners and raised on four lion-headed clawed feet, the exterior densely carved and undercut with a scene of figures in leisurely pursuits in a bustling pavilion city, the cover centered with an oval plaque, the sides mounted with a pair of silver handles, the interior set with a tray with ivory sewing accessories including a thimble, clamps, and silk winders
