superbly modeled, the deity seated on a high pierced rockwork pedestal above swirling waves issuing lotus flowers, beautifully adorned with elaborate beaded jewelry with ruyi-shaped pendants and a long folding robe, the hair tied in a chignon, the body slightly turned, legs crossed with one foot forward, one arm holding a ruyi scepter, the right arm wrapped around a boy holding a pearl, a boy with hands in prayer standing to her left
Condition
The end of the seated boy's index finger is chipped away. The end of Guanyin's left middle figure is chipped away. There is a tiny chip to the string of the standing boy's apron. There is a firing crack to the base which extends up the base as a fine hair crack to the lower part of the Guanyin's drapery. There is a minor firing tear in Guanyin's right upper arm and several other firing tears in the base.
