well-modeled, the God of War seated on rockwork plinth, wearing layered and pierced honeycomb-patterned armor and a green robe decorated with writhing dragons amidst clouds, a medallion at his chest and a tightly cinched belt about his waist, further openwork armor fastened on one knee with a tiger-head clasp, his head and hands without enameled decoration

Condition

There is restoration to the neck and shoulder, to both hands and wrists, to one of the white sections to the back of the figure's robe and to the leading edge where it drapes over the figure's knee. The restoration has been well done but is detectable by black light.
