Description

  • Jade
  • Diameter: 7 inches
well carved, with rounded sides and gently flared rim, supported on a neatly finished square-cut footring, the stone with some milky white inclusions, carved wood stand (2)

Condition

There are some small white specks in the stone and some unpolished specks to the sides. There is a hairline extending from the rim into the sides which may be a natural line in the stone. The rim of the bowl shows a ca. 1/8 in. unpolished natural flaw to the stone and there are several tiny frits to the edge of the foot. There are some scratches to the interior of the bowl. The actual color of the bowl is quite close to the illustration in the catalogue.
