Description

delicately potted with thin steep sides supported on a low straight foot, elegantly rising to a flared rim, meticulously enamelled around the sides with stands of orchids, signifying the seventh month, springing from rockwork beside a rushing stream in various shades of cobalt blue, the reverse inscribed in regular script with an excerpt from a Tang Dynasty poem, reading Guang dian qingxiang fa, gao tai yuan chui yin ('The spacious hall imbued with subtle fragrance, while music was played in the high pavilion afar'), followed by a square seal Shang ('Appreciate'), the countersunk base inscribed with a six-character reign mark

Except for a few pinprick burst air bubbles, the overall condition is excellent.
