Description
the exterior decorated with four gilded roundels each containing a group of precious objects including vases holding sprigs of peony blooms, bowls of cherries, toy ships, dice and animal puppets, the background with stylised lotus issuing from scrolled stems all set against a lemon-yellow ground, the interior centred with a medallion enclosing an intimate garden scene, the rim with a band of alternating iron-red peony and lotus florets, the base inscribed in iron red with a six-character reign mark

Condition
Except for some surface scratches to the interior, the overall condition is very good with the bright iron-red and enamels well preserved.
