Description

each painted with a bouquet of blossoming lotus flowers tied by a flowing ribbon in the centre of the interior, encircled by a register of composite leafy floral scroll at the cavetto and a cloud-scroll border at the rim, the exterior similarly painted with a wide band of composite leafy floral scroll between a key-fret border at the rim and a cloud-scroll border encircling the foot, the underside inscribed with a six-character reign mark

Condition

The overall condition of the pair is very good, with the exception of very minor fritting around the rim of one dish.
