of square section with tapered sides supported on a recessed foot, decorated to one side in low relief with a stylised animal motif, flanked by a pair of reticulated high-relief handles carved as sinuous chilong nimbly clambering on the rim, one of them playfully stepping on the tail of a third chilong writhing on the exterior, the calcified stone streaked with natural brown inclusions

Condition

There are losses to the calcified surface. One corner of the rim has been slightly polished down (1.5 cm). There are some nibbles to the rim and edges.
