Davies, Richmond, Virginia and Boude & Miley Lexington, Virginia; both discolored, Mary Custis Lee's image and signature faded, matted together, glazed and framed.

Signed images of Robert E. Lee and his wife.  "RE Lee and MC Lee." Lee sat for the present image by Davies in 1864 (Meredith, The Face of Robert E. Lee, pp. 54-57).
