Fine, early autograph letter signed (``Enrico Caruso''), 1 page with vignette of a green knight, small 4to, (7 x 5 1/2 in.; 178 x 139 mm), Palermo, 23 June [18]95, to Signor Prestreau, explaining that his teacher Lombardi has told him of a potential engagement in England in July, but he is unable to accept owing to prior commitments. Mounted, framed and glazed.
