This is a fascinating collection of manuscripts documenting the creative process of one of David Felder's key works. Felder experiments with the ordering of various passages and the order here is marked as "provisional." The quartet was written for the Arditti Quartet, one of the leading ensembles for contemporary music, and premiered in Buffalo on 27 February 2009.
