Paul Klee makes his first foray into the Austrian art market. In this letter to an assistant to Viennese dealer R. L. Rochwanski, Klee confirms that he will be sending ten paintings or drawings. He requests that all the paintings be framed for exhibition and discusses shipping costs. Responding to a request the he sign an exclusive contract for Austria with the dealer, Klee points out that he is new to the Austrian market and is not ready to commit himself to that just yet.
