Saunders mould-made paper, Pegasus type designed by Berthold Wolpe.  Full maroon morocco by James Brockman (1987), spine gilt-lettered, covers and spine with design in gilt and onlays of black, gray, and white morocco. edges gilt, light gray doublures, dark gray free endpapers.  Gray buckram clamshell case, gilt-lettered black morocco label on spine; minimal wear.

Catalogue Note

Second English edition, first limited edition.  Copy 85 of 400 numbered copies, signed by Hughes and Baskin.  This edition contains three poems which did not appear in the first edition.  The present copy also contains an original pen-and-ink drawing of a crow, signed by Baskin and dated 1978 on a front flyleaf (approx. 2  1/4  x 2 in.).
