Sending a painting. Courbet sends a marine painting to his correspondent and suggests if it is not suitable Mr. Delaroche should choose a painting from Courbet's current exhibition. He notes that if the person Delaroche mentioned is really Kollil's brother, he has made a substantial offer of 40,000 francs on one of his paintings.
