Two bindings with the arms of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette:
Guillaume Postel. La Loi salique. Paris: Chez Lamy, 1780. 18mo. Printed on vellum. Crimson morocco with arms of Louis XVI on both covers within triple fillets, smooth spine lettered gilt and ornamented with rules and small floral tools, marbled endpapers, edges gilt; one fillet on top cover slightly abraded. Blue cloth chemise, blue morocco slipcase. — Histoire de D. Ranucio d'Aletes. Venice: Aux Depens de la Compagnie, 1758. 2 volumes, 8vo. Half-titles, title-pages printed in red and black with engraved emblems. Mottled calf with arms of Marie-Antoinette on both covers within triple fillets, smooth spines gilt with black lettering pieces, marbled endpapers, edges sprinkled red; upper joint of vol. 1 and board edges of vol. 2 rubbed, joints of vol. 2 dry and starting, a few nicks to spine, minor losses to corners.
