Catalogue Note

First American Edition, in the rare dust jacket . Published only a few months after the American edition of The Voyage Out, Woolf's first appearance in America. Woolf revised the text of The Voyage Out for its American publication, but the topic of revisions is not addressed by Kirkpatrick in regard to Night and Day. Number of copies printed is unknown, although by 1929 only 1326 copies had been sold, and some of these probably from later impressions.
