Lincoln"), drawn on the Springfield Marine & Fire Insurance Company, Springfield, 21 March 1860, accomplished by Lincoln in favor of Smith, Wickersham & Co. for $153.46, printed in blue ink on paper (2 1/8 x 7 1/8 in.; 56 x 182 mm) by Richards & Smith, marine vignette at left border; neat cancellation slits, with tiny loss not affecting accomplishment.

Smith, Wickersham was Springfield's leading dry goods emporium.
