Catalogue Note

The President writes to make arrangements for lectures, to ask favors, to comment on the editing of his contributions to Bok's Ladies Home Journal, to invite Bok to become member of the General Committee of the League to Enforce Peace, and to decline an appointment due to conflict of interest. The fragment is a carbon of a letter to Elihu Root sent to Bok (17 December 1923) apparently concerning the organization of the League of Nations.
