Condition
Bust with diadem:
Overall the condition of the marble is excellent. There is dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age, including a few minor chips and scratches. There is some naturally occurring veining running through the face from the proper right neck below the ear through the cheek and lips to beneath the proper left eye, and another slight vein running through the proper right cheekbone. There is a metal hook inserted into the rear of the bust at the neck. There are a few naturally occurring inclusion, including one at the proper right cheek. The condition of the grey marble socle is very good with dirt and wear to the surface including a few minor chips to the edges.
Bust with open drapery:
Overall the condition of the marble is very good. There is dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age, including spots of paint and dirt to the rear, particularly at the proper right shoulder. There are some slight waxy residues on the bun of the figure's hair. There is a large loss to the drapery at the proper right side. There are minor chips and scratches throughout, including at the edges of the drapery at the proper right, at the bottom of the drapery at the centre and at the drapery on the proper left. There is naturally occurring veining throughout the marble, particularly at the torso and in the drapery, with particular areas of veining at the drapery on the proper right side and a darker vein at the proper left shoulder at the back. There is a hole at the top of the head, which probably once held a metal crescent or diadem. There is a metal hook inserted in the back of the sculpture at the drapery below the neck. The condition of the socle is very good with dirt and wear, including a few chips and scratches.
Pair of columns:
Overall the condition of the columns is very good. There is dirt and wear to the surfaces consistent with age. There are chips and scratches to the edges of the bases of the columns, including losses at the corners. There are chips and scratches throughout to the bottoms of the columns and also to the tops of the columns.
