Description

  • fragmentary relief with a griffin

Condition

The condition of the relief is good. There is some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are chips to the edges and evidence of weathering to the surface, consistent with this being an architectural fragment. There is some veining to the marble including a small dark spot to the griffin's neck. There is a small crack on the right edge and a hole in the left side.
