Condition
The canvas has been relined. There are no signs of retouching visible under ultraviolet light. The painting appears to have been cleaned in the past, with some thinning of the paint surface in places, and there are some light surface scuffs in the lower right.
Held in a decorative wood and plaster gold-painted 20th century frame.
