Condition

As visible in the catalogue illustration, there is horizontal craquelure following the grain of the wood. Under UV light there are areas with fine strokes of retouching, notably in the lower part of her dress, addressing thin scratches in the upper, left, and right corners, and minor spots in the door and frame. Held in a 20th Century gold-painted frame.
