Condition

The canvas has been relined. Under UV light there is some retouching: an area where two repaired tears join (a 6cm tear and a 12cm tear interlocking in the left of the composition), and a 13cm horizontal repaired tear in the lower right in the grapes, with scattered pinhole-sized spots of retouching in the lower right quadrant. The work is ready to hang. Held in a coved and fluted decorative gold-painted wood and plaster frame.
