Condition
The canvas has been relined. Under UV light there are some short thin horizontal perpendicular strokes of retouching, notably in the left half of the sky (some visible in the catalogue illustration) and some surface dirt, and hairline craquelure (visible only under close inspection) in the darker pigments in the figures and lower left.
Held in a decorative gold-painted wood and plaster frame.
