Catalogue Note
Poems was first published by Aylott and Jones in an edition of 1,000 copies on 26 May 1846. In 1848 Smith purchased the unsold stock and published this second issue in October of that year. The green cloth spine present in this rebound copy appears to conform to Smith's no. 5 binding.
