Barrie"), signed with an original ink drawing by the illustrator and additionally signed by George Frampton, 50 coloured plates and other illustrations by Arthur Rackham, orignal pictorial cloth gilt, some browning and spotting, extremities worn with some additional sunning

Catalogue Note

The "Peter Pan Party", in aid of Dr Barnardo's, became an annual event in the late 1920s and 1930s at Claridge's. This volume is additionally signed by the Marchioness of Milford Haven, Princess Beatrice and Princess Marie Louise, presumably from one of the parties at which all were present in the 1930s. The other signatures may date from a different occasion although Frampton is known to have attended a Peter Pan Party in 1927.
