Catalogue Note
HarperCollins in New York published Some Pig! in 2007 with the text adapted from Charlotte's Web. Illustrations were provided by the children's author and illustrator, Maggie Kneen. The artist has also illustrated work by Bonny Burke, Billy Collins and Dick King-Smith. Other of her artwork to come to auction comprised a complete set of illustrations for Babe (offered in these rooms, 17 July 2008, lot 277) which sold for £8,750.
