Catalogue Note

The second Kelmscott Press book to be printed in three colours. Two full-page illustrations were engraved by W.H. Hooper after designs by Edward Burne-Jones. This copy appears to be from the collection of the Danish printer, Simon Bernsteen (1850-1920) who had visited the Kelmscott Press in 1895.
